Burt's Bees Hand Creams

I can't live without my Burt's Bees hand lotion! These are two I love:

Honey & Grapeseed Hand Cream
My description upon experience
All year around hand moisturizer.

My Recommendation
I love this product so much! I have it all year around in my purse. It smells delicious! I always get compliments from people about the smell. It feels super silky when you rub it into your skin. It does feel kind of slippery or greasy on palms, but that eventually goes away. I love that it is 99% natural.

My only complaint
I really wish I could buy it in a smaller size so I can put it in small purses:)

Yay it is Paraben-free!!!

My only complaint
I really wish this would come in a smaller size too, so I can put it in small purses:)

Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder

Philosophy - Turbo Booster C Powder

Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder

My description upon experience
It is a very fine white powder that resembles powder sugar and corn starch. This product is suppose to be used for anti-aging and to help lighten up skin pigmentation. It comes with a super small spoon to help you scoop the powder out of the tiny bottle. The powder blends nicely into your daily moisturizer before you apply it to your skin.

My Recommendation
I really do love this product. It brightens up your skin when you put it on. It give you an extra glow.

My opinion
I would only recommend this product to someone who is obsessed with skin products. Meaning someone who is willing to mix the powder in their moisturizer each day, and someone who isn't bothered by mess. Scooping out the powder can be messy.
I can't tell if it lightened up skin pigmentation. But I like to think of it as preventing fine lines. This product is for individuals that want to make this a part of their morning routine for long term, and who are not doing it for fast results. After using it for a year I will get back to you and let you know if I think it has really made a difference.

Yay it is Paraben-free!!!

Product Ingredients: Ascorbic Acid, Panthenol, Zinc Pca, Copper Pca, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Juice, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, Arginine, Cysteine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice.

Dermalogica Antioxidant hydramist

antioxidant hydramist

Dermalogica Antioxidant Hydramist

 My description upon experience
A toner for extra hydration for your skin. This product doesn't have an odor, and is gentle on the skin.

My Recommendation
I really enjoy using this product. When it dries it feels like a protective  seal on your skin, blocking out all the bad pollutants from the environment, while holding in the moisture of your skin. It is perfect for people who have dry skin. And it is also perfect for people who do not wear makeup, and would like a mist of hydration during the day.

Yay it is Paraben-free!!!

My only complaint
I really wish it sprayed on more direct on face and with a lighter mist. It is as if the spray hole of the product is too big. So it sprays on heavily on eyes and on hair. It is something you can use throughout the day, but one spray will get in your hair, and might mess up your eye makeup.

My opinion
I do recommend this product to my friends and family, but for women who wear makeup, and don't like their hair sprayed down, this product should not be sprayed on during the day. It is best to be used as only a toner that you put on before other products or makeup.

Product Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Palmitoyl Tripeptide 5, Arginine/Lysine Polypeptide, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Glucosamine HCl, Sodium Carboxymethyl Beta Glucan, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Extract, Pisum Sativum Extract (Pea), Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Powder, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Sorbitol, Proline, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice Root), Methyl Gluceth 20, Lecithin, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Glycerin, Disodium EDTA, PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Benzyl PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Isoeugenol, Linalool, Acorus Calamus Root, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Oil (Rosewood), Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Oil (Clove), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower), Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Rose Flower Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract (Lemon), Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglyceride, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator

Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator

My description upon experience
Light, non-greasy, unscented face moisturizer

My Recommendation
Love this product. It is one of my favorites for the winter. It is so gentle on the skin, and your skin feels so smooth. This product is really great for people who have dry skin all year around or for people who have combination skin, but need a little more moisture in the winter. I recommend it to all my friends, and family.

Yay it is Paraben-free!!!

My only complaint
It would be so nice if it had spf in it. And I wish that Clinque would have it in bigger sizes, because it is easy to go through quickly.

Philosophy the microdelivery peel

philosophy the microdelivery peel - 1 kit

Microdelivery Peel

My description upon experience
This product is an at home chemical peel. The bicarbonate vitamin c crystals is like a pre-scub, which is placed on your skin first, and the rapid activation gel is a light liquid gel.

My only complaint
This product in my opinion is taken at your own risk. It is very strong, and can be super harsh on sensitive skin. It already give a warm tingling sensation on your skin, but if you regularly use acne wash, acne products, or anti-aging products it can cause your skin to burn. It is a great way to exfoliate your skin but if you want a chemical peel I would recommend to go to a professional. It would cost the same amount as buying this product. And there are other ways to exfoliate your skin that are not as harsh.

Another thing I do not like about this product is it is Not Paraben-free!!!

My Recommendation
This product really cleans your skin and get rid of old dead cells. It shouldn't be done often because it seriously exfoliates your skin. Right after using, your skin will feel soft and shiny. But of course that is because you just scrubbed your face with a sand paper like product.

My opinion
I personally, have moved on from this product. I would rather go to a specialist. But it might be exactly what you are looking for.

Active Ingredients: bicarbonate vitamin c crystals:  peg-6, sodium bicarbonate, oleth-20, glyceryl stearate se, silica, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) oil, beta carotene, isopropylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate
rapid activation gel:  water (aqua), lactic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, linoleamidopropyl pg-dimonium chloride phosphate, polyquaternium 10, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben

Dermalogica dynamic skin recovery spf 30

dynamic skin recovery spf30

Dynamic skin recovery spf 30

My description upon experience
This moisturizer is somewhat thick but not heavy on skin or greasy. It is unlike other spf 30 moisturizers that are hard to blend into skin or leaves white smears. It blends in nicely without any problems, almost as if it doesn't have sunblock in it.

My Recommendation
I really loved this product. It doesn't clog pores and doesn't cause breakouts. It is a perfect face sunblock.

My only complaint
This product was expensive for the amount they give you. It seemed like I had to pump a lot out of the bottle to get enough moisturizer. It also has ingredients that can react poorly with other anti-aging products or super strong acne treatment. So, it is important to make sure it won't react to some other ingredients in another product you might be using.

Active Ingredient: Avobenzone (3.0%), Octinoxate (7.5%), Octisalate (5.0%), Oxybenzone (5.0%), Water (Aqua), Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Butylene Glycol, Arachidyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Arginine/Lysine Polypeptide, Palmitoyl Tripeptide 5, Glucosamine HCl, Saccharomyces Cerevisia Cell Extract, Oenothera Biennis Oil (Evening Primrose), Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Glycine Soja Protein (Soybean), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Colloidal Oatmeal, Allantoin (Comfrey Root), Algae (Seaweed) Extract, Squalane, Arachidyl Glucoside, Urea, Chrysanthemum Parthenium Flower Extract (Feverfew), C13 14 Isoparaffin, Laureth 7, Polyacrylamide, Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polysorbate 60, Nylon 12, Disodium EDTA, Benzyl PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Isoeugenol, Linalool, Acorus Calamus Root, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Oil (Rosewood), Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Oil (Clove), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower), Pelargonium, Graveolens Flower Oil, Rose Flower Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract, Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglyceride, Titanium Dioxide

Clinique Even Better Eyes

Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector
Clinique Even Better Eyes

My description upon experience
It is an eye moisturizers with a light brown tint.

What the product is suppose to do
This product is marketed to lighten the dark circles under eyes, which you can get from not getting enough sleep, allergies, genes, ect.

My opinion of the product
I bought this product right when it came out because of all the hype. My friend and I tried the product at the same time. We used it day and night for 12 weeks like they recommend. Neither of us saw a difference, and we immediately moved onto another product to try.

My impression and experience
The product does brighten up your eyes a bit when you put it on. I saw a slight difference only when it was on. It acts more like a moisturizer concealer.

My Recommendation
I would only recommend this product if someone wanted something like a light tinted moisturizer under eye concealer. It would be perfect for someone who doesn't like to wear makeup, or someone who doesn't want to put concealer under eyes. But, I wouldn't recommend it as an under eye base before makeup is applied, because it doesn't look very nice, and gives the appearance of shedding skin.

Key Ingredients: Vitamin C (anti-ager); mulberry root (lightens); caffeine, green tea extract, and phytosphingosine (anti-inflammatories), siegesbeckia orientalis extract (helps prevent collagen breakdown); linoleic acid and cholesterol (restore skin barrier); whey protein (promotes collagen production)

Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash

My description upon experience
It is a breakout control product. It is nice for maintenance! To maintain clear skin and prevent new breakouts. I consider it for skin with little to mild breakouts.

My Recommendation
This is a product I really enjoy. This product is not harsh on your skin. There isn't a strong or weird odor to it.  It's consistency is nice and light. It does not dry up your face, coming for someone who gets dry skin easily. Product lasts a good while. It isn't a product you will regret spending money on, because your skin will feel well cleaned.
